Frequently asked questions

Safety, delivery, custom orders and care — everything you need to know about our UK-made 3D printed toys.

UKCA markingUK toy-safety tested · BS EN 71

Are 3D printed toys safe for children?

Yes. Our toys are independently toy-safety tested to BS EN 71 and carry UKCA conformity — the UK toy-safety standard. They're suitable for ages 3+, and we follow the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011. This certification is something most online 3D-print sellers can't offer.

What age are the toys suitable for?

Our toys are suitable for ages 3 and over. As with any toy, we recommend adult supervision for younger children.

What are the toys made from?

We print in PLA — a plant-based, eco-friendly plastic made from renewable sources rather than petroleum. It's the same material widely used for desktop 3D printing, chosen here for safety, detail and its shimmering colour options.

Do the toys need assembly?

No. Our articulated pieces are printed in one piece, fully poseable straight out of the box — the joints move with no assembly, glue or batteries needed.

How long does delivery take?

Most items are made to order and typically dispatched within about 48 hours, sent via Royal Mail. Custom orders may take a little longer — we'll always confirm timings with you.

Can I order a custom colour or design?

Absolutely — custom orders are welcome. We can print most designs in any colour, including our shimmering rainbow and colour-shift filaments. Send us a sketch or an STL file via our contact page and we'll bring it to life.

How much do the toys cost?

Prices start from just £1, with most items between £1 and £15 — affordable collectibles, gifts, party-bag fillers and sensory desk pets.

Where are the toys made?

Every piece is designed and 3D printed by us in the UK (Northamptonshire). You can also find us in person at craft fairs around the area — see our events page.

How do I look after my 3D printed toy?

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Because PLA softens in high heat, keep your toy out of direct sunlight and never leave it in a hot car or near radiators.
